The title of the poem “A nation’s strength” gives a clear message to its readers that a nation can never stand on firm grounds without the sincere efforts made by the inhabitants of that particular land. For the solid foundation of a progressive nation, courage, determination, integrity, great minds, patience, and hard work is a must. .A nation can never be strong with the wealth and riches it owns but with the devotion and passion of the people it can stand out in the world. The nation’s pillars can only be built deep and rise to the sky due to the daring, courageous, determined acts of the people. So, all the nation’s strength, progress, and development simply rest on the shoulders of its people’s sincerity and affection towards the motherland.
- Write five sentences on “character”.
Character is something that reflects the personality traits of an individual. It is based on the mental and moral qualities of a person that make him distinctive from others. Such qualities are not only interesting and unusual but make a person determined and able to deal with difficult situations that come across in his life. According to Abraham Lincoln, “Reputation is the shadow. Character is the tree.” Character is said to be “the stable and distinctive qualities built into an individual’s life which determine his or her response regardless of circumstances.”
With heart and soul: all one’s energies and interest.
Example: It’s no use having an employee who does not put heart and soul in his work.

Exercise: Latif has breakfast at seven o’clock and lunch at one o’clock, but he has a snack at about ten o’clock. At half-past four he has tea. His favorite TV program is at twenty-past nine. The news is much earlier, at twenty-five- minutes to six. There is another good program at a quarter to ten. The transmission ends at midnight.
