Q8: Explain various levels of biological organization?
Explain various levels of biological organization?
Ans: The various steps through which an organism is arranged are called the level of organizations. Various levels of biological organization as follow.
1.Matter and elements:
The matter is composed of a basic substance called elements there are more than 92 naturally occurring elements basic elements in human beings 99% of the total mass is formed by six elements these elements are called basic elements these are.
Other elements are also present their contribution is less than 1% of total elements there are called trace elements.
Atoms are the smallest particle of matter it is composed by protein, neutron and electron.
3.Molecules: Atom combines to form molecules.
Molecules combine to form compounds. Compounds are of two types, organic and inorganic compounds.
Both organic and inorganic compounds are associated in particular fashion at farm structure known as organelles e.g. ribosomes, mitochondria.
It is the basic structure and function of life. It cautions sub cellular organelles e.g. nerve cell.
A group of a cell with similar structure and function is called tissue e.g. parenchyma and collenchymas in a plant. Nerves tissue in animals.
The related tissue in a particular, fashion combines to form an organ e.g. liver, stomach.
The organs in co-ordinate in their function and form an organ system e.g. digestive system.
Different system collectively forms an organism.
A group of closely related organism that can interbreed and produce fertile offspring in close association are called population.
Members of same species living together in close association are called population.
The different population of the same constitutes a community.
